Wilsonia Scholars’ Home follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and continually evolves in line with the Board’s guidelines. Recent shifts in the pedagogy after the NEP 2020 and NCFFS 2022 and NCFSE 2023, can be seen in our classrooms. The teachers have all been trained and realigned to the needs of the new world and the curriculum is planned each year keeping the Holistic Development of each child as the reference point. We follow a strictly --- NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND POILCY

The incorporation of CBE for the Board Examinations, introduction of Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Gyan (Vocational Subjects), Three Language policy and many other changes already show the results in our students.

Beyond textbooks, the curriculum is designed to nurture overall growth. Life skills, moral values, general awareness, and language speaking and listening skills are woven into daily learning so that students develop confidence, character and communication alongside academic excellence.

What Our Curriculum Includes

The school follows the prescribed course of study as laid down by CBSE for all classes from Balvatika to Class XII.
Life Skills, Moral Values, General Awareness, and Speaking & Listening skills are integrated to support all-round development.
Students may opt for Sanskrit or Urdu as the third language from Classes V to X. (As per the new Three Language Policy)
Computers are taught from Class I to VIII; Information Technology (IT) / AI is offered in Classes IX and X, and students can continue the same as Vocational in Classes XI and XII as well. Computer Science is offered as a Major Subject at Senior Secondary level.
Physical Education, Music, Art and Craft are integral parts of the timetable—every student participates in these activities. PE and Painting are also offered as subjects to students of classes IX and X.
STEAM is an essential part of our curriculum, along with the new CT and AI curriculum prescribed by CBSE for Classes III to VIII.
Students of Classes VI to X actively maintain their PORTFOLIOS for the Kaushal Bodh activities.
Evaluation includes periodic tests, homework, projects and examinations. Cumulative performance across the session is considered at the time of promotion.

Senior Secondary Streams

For Classes XI and XII, the school offers two streams (though we permit overlapping as now NO SILOS is to be followed as per NEP 2020) so that students can choose a pathway aligned with their aptitude and career goals:

Science Stream – for students aspiring to engineering, medicine and related fields.
Commerce Stream – for students oriented toward business, finance, accounts and management.
Apart from the Traditional subjects like – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, we offer – Computer Science, IT, AI, Painting, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, besides languages.

Evaluation Approach

Assessment is continuous and fair. Periodic tests, class work, projects and term examinations together build a complete picture of each student’s progress. Promotion decisions take into account the cumulative effort of the entire academic session, not a single examination alone. We firmly believe in remedials and provide the same based on performance records. This is in compliance to our policy of --- NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND
